What we did in 2015

The start of 2015 was a busy time for our Children in Care Council with the following projects delivered

Further development of Life Story Work for looked after children

Foster carer conferences continue with young people are at the heart of the training Missing from care documents in place.

New information for children moving foster placements and 'All About Me' were completed.

Corporate Parents created new leisure opportunities for care leavers.

Apprenticeships for care leavers were identified.

Supporting children and young people on Breakaway - checklist for carers was completed

And much more to come into 2016.

The Nominations have been judged and invites to our Awards Ceremony have been sent out.
We also have 30 merit certificates which will be presented to those who just missed a place by their social worker before the end of the year.  A massive congratulation to everyone who was nominated!
