We provide training for adults who work with children in care and care leavers.

This is a one day course that all Wakefield council workers who work with us must do. We help adults understand how important our confidentiality is, teach them how to listen to children better, and help them understand how hard we try.

This is a one day course for people who want to be Foster Carers.  We show them how to provide a homely environment for us, and challenge their views about children in care.  At the end of the day we have a say in who we would like to move on to the next stage to becoming a registered Foster Carer.

This short online course goes out to anyone who works with children in Wakefield. We help adults challenge themselves to look beyond stereotypes and see each child as an individual. 

This is a morning course which is presented by Wakefield Virtual School.  We train designated teachers to help other teachers and school staff give better support to children in care.
