Borrowing money
At 18, as an adult you can apply for loans and credit cards dependent on your financial circumstance. You need to be really careful if you are applying for either as you need to ensure you have enough money to pay back the money you borrow and be aware that you will be charged interest for borrowing the money.
Welfare Provision
Wakefield Council have a scheme for vulnerable people in an emergency or crisis. No money exchanges hands but they may be able to support you. There is a link in useful links
