Priorities

1.  Lessening the Shock of the Move into independence

We are working with a regional group to make an App that helps young people develop skills and confidence 

2. More General Support for Care Leavers

Our 16+ Forum and activity groups worked with Next Steps to develop the new Local Offer. 

Joy, a foster Carer, and Rich have been visiting local community groups to promote support in the community for care leavers.

The Birthdays and festivals allowance as well as the setting up home allowance have all increased this year.
