"Hi, I am Julie Woodcock, and I am the service manager of the Children in Care service.

We work with children and young people from 0–18-year-old. There are 5 teams within the service. Each has a manager who oversees several social workers.

All children and young people we work with will have an allocated social worker to support and help them. We think it’s important to work alongside you, and other professionals, to make sure that you get everything you need and do well.

We will do this by listening to your views, doing regular reviews with everyone who is important in your life.  We will make sure that you are actively involved in your care planning."
