Wakefield Council has an action plan to make sure that Children can grow up together
2. Social Worker and Foster Family Stability
The council have developed an action plan to decrease the amount of social workers a child has in their journey through care
3. Have Better and Less Rules
We are now developing training for foster carers and social workers about how to negotiate better and less rules.
CICC Newsletter
CiCC Multi-Sports (11-16 yrs)
The CICC Newsletter lets you know what we have been doing in Children in Care Council.
It goes out twice a year and is a great way to share and celebrate all the good things that we do!
Send us your pics, quizzes, news and art and they may be included in this website and in our Children in Care Council Newsletter.
A great way to meet other young people with a love for sport. We meet in school holidays.
Join Tom and other staff from Leisure and Sport Services for a fun, action packed two hours of indoor and outdoor sports.
4-5pm After School
Would you like to meet other children in care and do multi-sports activities with Wakefield’s sports and Leisure team?
Full risk assessments will be made available and social distancing adhered to. It’s a great chance to meet new friends and talk about things that matter to children in care.
Ask your carer to contact Rich for more details at rstanley@wakefield.gov.uk
